We had a fantastic stay at this unique hotel. The location in the former palace was special, with the villas being the former houses of the king. The two pools, part of the old water park, were open for swimming and were superb. The staff were really friendly and supportive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Exploring the nearby countryside was amazing, with stunning sights of Mount Agung.
Can't fault anything about it.

We had a fantastic stay at Tirtagangga Water Palace Villas. The octagonal living room with its verandah and garden views was incredibly romantic and cosy. The bath tub with the gurgling springwater was a delightful treat. We also loved having koi-fish at our doorstep. The central spiral staircase leading to the loft bed added a touch of magic to our stay. It was an absolute luxury to enjoy the private pool and day bed with a beautiful outlook over the palace gardens. We particularly enjoyed the unrestricted access to the water gardens after public visiting hours. The host was incredibly helpful, making us feel like we were staying in a private retreat of a close friend. This is now our favorite place in Bali, offering the perfect retreat from the world and a chance to relax and swim in the sacred pools. It was amazing to experience the tranquility of the place once the tourists left.
We felt immediately at home at Tirtagangga Water Palace Villas, and there's really no reason to complain.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was amazing! The staff was incredible and offered free breakfast in our room, which was a great surprise. The location was perfect, right next to some stunning water gardens. We also loved the private pool, it was fantastic to have it all to ourselves.
We did encounter some bugs, which was expected as the villa is quite open to the outdoors. Also, the water gardens are a bit busy with tourists starting at 7:30 am, so it's not quite as peaceful and private as we had hoped.

One of the highlights of my stay at this hotel was the incredible value for money. I couldn't believe the prices for such a unique experience within the water palace gardens. The attention to detail in the villa's architecture and furniture was impeccable. Additionally, the rooms offered breathtaking views of the water gardens, making every moment of my stay even more memorable.
All was fantastic, no improvements needed.

Tucked away high on the hillside, this unique accommodation offers a stunning view of the former palace's water gardens. The cottages are idiosyncratic, with a charmingly surreal atmosphere. The marble villa boasts a lovely big bed and a semi-open air bathroom, creating a truly memorable experience. The manager, Windra, ensures utmost comfort from reservation to check-out.
The bathroom amenities may not be up to standard in some cases.

We had a wonderful stay at a unique and beautiful place with luxurious bungalows. The open-air bathroom was a special touch and the bed was comfortable. Despite the surrounding bamboo hedges, the quietness of the area made for a peaceful night's sleep. The view from the restaurant overlooking the water palace was breathtaking, and the freshly made fruit juices were delicious. We also enjoyed a refreshing morning swim in the big pool. we highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience.

Our romantic escape was simply magical! We loved the serene vibe of the place and the beautiful gardens that surrounded us. We were able to enjoy the pools and take in the breathtaking view before the tourists arrived. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious.
Although we enjoyed our stay, there were some minor issues. The hot water was a bit inconsistent and there were a few bugs, but it wasn't a big deal for us.
